ELEVATE, ACSM's multi-year capital campaign, supports critical initiatives that will enable the college to better serve its current and future members, grow and inspire the fields of sports medicine and exercise science, and improve health and health outcomes in the U.S. and globally.

A Message from the Chair

At the 2018 ACSM Annual Meeting, I announced that ACSM is undertaking an unprecedented capital campaign: ELEVATE The Future of Sports Medicine and Exercise Science.

This is an extraordinary endeavor to ELEVATE the future of our organization, the fields and the people we serve. I am honored to chair the ELEVATE campaign, and I look forward to collaborating with you as we pursue meaningful progress and exceptional value in the four priority areas of the campaign. Based on extensive member surveys and input, this ELEVATE capital campaign will have impact in four key areas:

ELEVATE Science and Discovery

Deliver professional enrichment opportunities benefiting all ACSM member segments, across all career stages, through substantial growth of grant, award and mentorship programs and their endowments - while driving expanded impact and influence in scientific discovery, translation and dissemination.
ELEVATE Individual and Population Health

Expand and synergize existing initiatives, including Exercise Is Medicine, American Fitness Index, ActivEarth and ACSM Certification, and develop new endeavors all with the specific aim to make historic progress in improving individual and population health in every patient experience, every participation in sports and in all aspects of work and play across the lifespan.
ELEVATE Global Center Impact

Amplify member value and professional development through a reimagined ACSM Global Center deploying advanced learning facilities, centers of excellence for the fields of sports medicine and exercise science, and service enhancements that enable best-in-class programs, advocacy and member and stakeholder engagement.
ELEVATE Innovation and Technology

Use best practices of innovation, continuous improvement and technology-enabled breakthroughs to enhance and accelerate ACSM’s service to members, contributions to the fields of sports medicine and exercise science, and advances to the health, performance and well-being of all people in the U.S. and worldwide.
