Is ACSM a university? How do I apply?

ACSM doesn’t have a campus or student body, and you can’t get a degree from ACSM. Our organization is a college in the sense that ACSM members and certified sports medicine and exercise science professionals form a community that shares a common purpose — advancing health through science, education and medicine.
Who are ACSM's members?

Our membership can be broken down into four primary categories: students, alliance of health & fitness professionals, professionals (faculty, researchers and physicians) and professionals in training. Members work and study in a variety of disciplines across the fields of exercise science and sports medicine.
