2023 RMACSM Spring Student Grants

To continue our support for student research and support the mission of the American College of Sports Medicine, RMACSM is opening its SECOND grant cycle. We are offering undergraduate, masters and doctoral student spring grants (to be awarded at RMACSM Annual Meeting). The number and award amount will be contingent on available funds from ACSM. This year we anticipate grant funding for:

• Two Undergraduate-level grants up to $500 each 
• Two Masters level grants up to $1000 each
• Two Doctoral level grants up to $1500 each

Spring Proposals are due by 5:00 PM (MST), Friday, March 3rd, 2023 as one PDF.

GSSI's Women in Sports Science Research Award

This award aims to support and celebrate women scientists conducting research related to the nutrition and/or hydration needs of active women, including performance and health outcomes. At GSSI we are making a commitment to invest in female specific research by not only conducting and funding research, but also supporting the scientific community of women in sport science to build a strong foundation of researchers. The two $5,000 awards are for women graduate students, postdocs and early career faculty to encourage the development of specialized knowledge on female nutrition and exercise physiology.
