2023 ACSM Northwest Annual Meeting

For those of you planning for travel to Portland, OR for our ACSM Northwest chapter annual meeting this Fri-Sat, Feb 24-25, we are holding our Annual Meeting as scheduled. It is apparent that the Portland metro area received significant snowfall Wednesday, perhaps more than many of the areas in our region. Please check for road and travel advisories and exercise caution in your decisions for winter travel (TripCheck.com cameras are very useful). The forecast is for cold temperatures across much of our region through the weekend, however, relatively less precipitation is forecasted at this time.

Annual Meeting Registration:

Registration for our 2023 Annual Meeting is now open! We do not offer single day registration. If you need to register a group with a single form of payment, please contact meeting@acsm.org. All group registration information and payment info must be received by February 1, 2023 to be processed. Groups will pay the current registration fee at the time group information is submitted.

Student Knowledge Bowl Registration:

The Student Knowledge Bowl is a fun event where teams of UNDERGRADUATE ONLY students compete for the College Bowl Trophy awarded to the team that collects the most points in a Jeopardy-style competition. The winning team of the regional student quiz bowl is expected to represent the Northwest Chapter at the National ACSM Annual Meeting Student Knowledge Bowl.

Graduate Program Fair

If your graduate program is interested in hosting a booth at our Annual Meeting, please contact rccr22@acsmnorthwest.org for more information and to sign-up. This is a great opportunity to get your academic or professional graduate program in front of the next generation of graduate students and their current faculty mentors from the Northwest. We average over 200 undergraduate students every year at our Annual Meeting!
